Location
Nepal is located between India to the South and Tibet
to the north
In area it is a similar size to the UK with a population
of approx 25 million.Most of the population live in the
rural areas with the exception of its capital Kathmandu
and second largest town Pokhara. To the south lie the
plains or Terai region and to the north the Himalayan
mountains rising to the Tibetan plateau
Religion
Although Buddha was born in Nepal most of the
population are Hindu and the 2 religions live side
by side.

How do I get to Nepal?
2 ways via the Middle East or via Delhi if you want to visit India this is your best option you can get a 15 day transit
visa issued at the Indian Embassy during your trip
If you are having problems with flight prices we can search for the best prices available for you
What do I need to Bring?
Passport and Summer clothing travel light there are many laundry facilities available/Helmet for motorcyclists
Visas
These are issued at the airport bring some passport size photos and $40 in cash it takes about 20 minutes but if you
only have pounds or euros that is no problem but your change will be in US dollars
Can I extend my stay?
These tours are based around 14 days but if you have longer you can extend your stay with many different options
Internet and phone facilities
In Kathmandu there are numerous Internet cafés and WIFI
You can phone abroad from most hotels and guest houses
Food and Drink
The food in Nepal is fresh and varied you can choose from Indian Cuisine to Pizza, Thai, Vegetarian and even  Steak
and none of these contain any preservatives
Bottled water is available at all shops for around 15p Coke and Pepsi have their own factories in Nepal
Beer is a choice between Carlsberg, San Miguel, Tuborg or local beers such as Everest and Gorka
Culture and Language
Nepal is a very open country but respect should be given to their beliefs and customs
In the tourist areas the staff all speak some English and the head waiters and Hotel Staff all speak reasonable English
Nightlife
Surprisingly Kathmandu has a vibrant nightlife open until early morning there is normally at least one bar with live music
every night
Money
Only carry small amounts of money there are many banks and ATM machines in either Kathmandu or Pokhara
