| Standard 14 Day Trekking Tour Kathmandu Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu met at the airport by myself and taken to your Hotel, short briefing followed by Nepali food and Cultural Dance Show Day 2 Sightseeing from 10am – 4pm Pashupatinath Hindu Temple Complex Boudanath Stupa the largest in Nepal Day 3 Leave Kathmandu and travel to Pokhara Spectacular views emerging from Kathmandu of Nepal with mountains on one side and an emerald green river on the other. Arriving mid afternoon in Pokhara. Pokhara Day 4 Full days rafting Picked up and taken for a full day having lunch on the riverside before returning to Pokhara at night Day 5 Full days trekking to Poon Hill with an experienced guide staying in local guesthouses overnight Day 6 Full days trekking to Poon Hill with an experienced guide staying in local guesthouses overnight Day 7 Full days trekking to Poon Hill with an experienced guide returning to Pokhara Day 8 Full days trekking to Poon Hill with an experienced guide staying in local guesthouses overnight Day 9 Flight or Tandam Parasending You have the choice of which activity you wish to take part in. Alternatively you can visit a local school or Tibetan Refugee Camp Chitwan National Park Day 10 Ride to Chitwan NP and bathing Elephants About 4 hours from Pokhara arriving in time to Bath the Elephants returning from that days Safari Day 11 Elephant Safari and Canoe Ride Entering the National Park on the back of an Elephant looking for Rhino and Tigers followed by a dug out canoe trip Day 12 Ride back to Kathmandu Ride to Kathmandu about a 4 hour trip Kathmandu Day 13 Sightseeing Patan Durbar Square and Golden Temple Monkey Temple for views over the Kathmandu Valley Day 14 Depart for the UK A free day for shopping and getting those last minute souvenirs and bargains |
